Let there be light
It was a night to remember in Bishopbriggs Town Centre as the Christmas lights were switched on and the festive season officially got underway.
Provost Renwick joined the three Bishopbriggs Community Council Youth Ambassadors at the switch-on to help the gathered crowds get into the Christmas spirit.
Run by Bishopbriggs Community Council, the special event featured stalls, entertainment, refreshments and lots of festive cheer. Provost Renwick said,

There was a great feeling of community as everyone came together around the tree to count down to the lights and signal the start of the festivities. Well done to all involved."
