Children’s Panel Area Support Team and Children’s Panel Recognition Event
Depute Provost Colette McDiarmid had the honour of attending the Children’s Panel Area Support Team and Children’s Panel Recognition Event in Milngavie on Tuesday 16 January.
This was the second year that the Council had attended the Children’s Panel Area Support Team and Recognition Event since the pandemic.
Invited by Ian Hart , the Depute Provost joined volunteers and representatives from East Dunbartonshire Children’s Panel and Area Support Team. They were also joined by representatives from Children’s Hearings Scotland and the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.
Gerry's long service
The event took place at Garvies in Milngavie. Panel Practice Advisor Gerry Paterson was thanked for completing five years of voluntary service with the Children’s Panel and Area Support Team.
Gerry and his team have been supporting Panel 'bers in East Dunbartonshire. Gerry was recognised for his invaluable advice and efforts and for assisting the Panel Members during his long service. He was thanked for his work with young families across East Dunbartonshire.
