Bishopbriggs Community Council Youth Ambassadors, Ruairidh, Isaac and Sophia, paid Provost Gillian Renwick a visit at East Dunbartonshire HQ in Kirkintilloch. Provost Renwick showed the young people around the Council Chambers, answering their questions on the East Dunbartonshire Coat of Arms and the origins of the chains worn by the Provost during the visit. The Provost and Youth Ambassadors then enjoyed a nice chat over some crisps and fruit juice.

Provost Renwick said,

It is always a pleasure to meet young people interested in local democracy and to show them around the chambers at East Dunbartonshire HQ.

I’m delighted to hear that Ruaridh, Isaac and Sophia are enjoying their youth ambassadorship roles with Bishopbriggs Community Council and I hope they found our meeting as enjoyable as I did!
