    As you will be aware, following an extensive recruitment process, Thomas Glen has been appointed as Chief Executive of Perth & Kinross Council.

    I can confirm that Thomas will therefore be leaving East Dunbartonshire Council at the end of October, however, given his balance of outstanding annual leave, his last working day with us will be Friday 1 October 2021 and I will confirm future organisational arrangements nearer that date.

    In the meantime, I am sure you will join me in congratulating Thomas on his appointment and wishing him every success in his exciting new role.
