Section

  1. The purpose of this technical note is to inform elected members about the energy efficiency methods accounted for in Para 181 of the Audit Scotland’s Isa 260 Letter & Annual Audit Report 2019/20 .

  2. The Housing Investment team can confirm that the majority of the investment made in existing Housing stock in pursuit of improved energy efficiency during 2019/20 was in relation to central heating and window installations. There was however a relatively smaller investment in External Wall Insulation which formed part of the HEEPS-ABS programme for improvements to mixed tenure blocks. Around 47 HRA owned assets were improved in this way during 2019/20.
