The purpose of this technical note is update Members in relation to the meeting of the Audit & Risk Management Committee scheduled to take place on 10th June 2021.
Following discussions between the Chief Executive and the Convener of Audit & Risk Management, it is intended to cancel the meeting of the Audit & Risk Management Committee scheduled for 10th June 2021. This is to reflect the continuing demands on the service areas most likely to report to the Audit & Risk Management Committee and external reporting deadlines around finalisation of accounts and other year end procedures.
A new diary of meetings for Council and Committees will be submitted to Council for approval on 17th June 2021. The proposed diary includes dates for both the Audit & Risk Management Committee and Scrutiny Panels. This will provide an opportunity for regular Audit & Risk Management activity and also scrutiny work up to the local government elections in May 2022.
