Section

  1. The purpose of this technical note is update Members of housekeeping matters in advance of the forth-coming cycle of meetings.

  2. Members will be aware that a full diary of meetings commences this week and will run through to the local government elections in 2022.  Members will also be aware that the last formal governance meeting took place on 29th June (special Meeting of Council).

  3. A number of ICT and security updates have been issued over the summer recess and these will require to be loaded on to laptops in advance of tomorrow’s Planning Board meeting in order to avoid difficulties with logging into laptops or joining the meeting itself.

  4. If any Member has not used their Council laptop in the last week or so due to holidays etc, they are advised to switch it on and log-in, well in advance of tomorrow’s Planning Board meeting.  This will enable any outstanding updates to be loaded and provide sufficient time for lap tops to restart where necessary and/or secure support from officers in ICT if required.
