  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Members of the Mugdock Joint Management Committee of the forthcoming visit from the North American Society of Clan Graham on Sunday 3rd July and Monday 4th July 2022.
  2. The North American Society of Clan Graham has been a long standing support organisation of Mugdock Country Park with particular focus on Mugdock Castle, their ancient clan seat.
  3. The Society in the past has worked with the Park and Mugdock Trust to deliver projects at the Castle site including the Graham room in Mugdock Castle and historical information for leaflets and interpretation panels.
  4. Clan Graham members raise funds for the Park each year and present a cheque to Mugdock Trust during their visit, which is used for the preservation and restoration of Mugdock Castle.
  5. To show appreciation for their ongoing support the Mugdock Joint Management Committee hosts a visit of Clan Graham to the Park during their tour of Scotland, most recently in 2017.
  6. This year the visit to Mugdock Country Park is Sunday 3rd July 2022.  The programme for this visit is attached (Appendix 1)
  7. In addition, the Clan Graham extends an invite to the Joint Management Committee and Mugdock Trust to join them in a meal and ceilidh.  This year it is to be held on Monday 4th July at Stirling Highland Hotel.  The programme for this is included in Appendix 1.
