Section

  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Members in relation to the installation of a flat top speed table, at Manse Road, Bearsden.   
     
  2. At the Place Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee meeting on 11 August 2022, Members requested a Technical Note providing details of the Traffic Order necessary for the installation of the speed table.  Specifically, Members requested an update in relation to the timescales for the Traffic Order.
     
  3. Promotion of the proposed Order has commenced and the Order was in the public domain for submission of objections and/or comments by 12 September 2022.  Any objections received will be reviewed and officers will engage with the objectors.  In the event that any objections are maintained a Traffic Management Appeal Board will be scheduled.
     
  4. In the event of no maintained objections, or following consideration of any maintained objections by a Traffic Management Appeals Board, a further report will be submitted to a future meeting of the Place Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee.
