Section

  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Members with an update in relation to the temporary removal of the option to pay online for Special Uplift services.
     
  2. This temporary removal will be for a short period beginning 20 October whilst a technical upgrade to the underlying software is completed. 
     
  3. Currently, residents of East Dunbartonshire can pay for Special Uplifts for household waste via an online form and online payment facility, or over the telephone by contacting Customer Services.
     
  4. To ensure the continued integrity of the online payment solution, there is a requirement to upgrade the underlying software resulting in the option to pay via the website being removed for a period.
     
  5. During this time, residents can continue to make payments via Customer Services.
     
  6. Other online payments are not impacted by this upgrade work.
