The purpose of this technical note is update Members of housekeeping matters in advance of the forth coming cycle of meetings.
Members will be aware that there are a series of governance meetings in the coming week, including a meeting of Council on Thursday 3rd February. Members will also be aware that there were few meetings held during January.
A number of ICT and security updates have been issued since the last Council meeting on 16th December 2021 and these require to be loaded on to laptops in advance of Thursday’s Council meeting in order to avoid difficulties with logging into laptops or joining the meeting itself.
If any Member has not used their Council laptop in the last couple of weeks, they are advised to switch it on and log-in, well in advance of Thursday’s Council meeting. This will enable any outstanding updates to be loaded and provide sufficient time for laptops to restart where necessary and/or secure support from officers in ICT if required.
