    Campsie View School has had a loss of power in part of the school this morning and, as a result, the school started to lose its heating. 

    The Property Maintenance Electrician attended as an emergency and identified the electrical board had failed.  In order to replace the isolator, the power needs to be cut off to the school.  Scottish Power have been contacted are currently working to resolve this problem.

    Due to lack of electricity, which will also impact on heating to the school, a decision was made to close the school at 11am today.

    Parents/carers are currently being contacted to collect their children or let them know that transport would drop them off at home.

    The school will reopen tomorrow as normal.
