      This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

    Section

    1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Members regarding the proposed closure date for the Allander Leisure Centre in advance of the opening of the new Centre.

    2. The existing Centre will close its doors to the public for the final time on Sunday, 15th January 2023.  The existing gas installations will thereafter be decommissioned and new connections installed to supply the new Centre.

    3. The proposed opening date for the new Centre and transition of services from Kelvinbank will be advised in early 2023.

    4. The closure date will be communicated via Corporate Communications through the usual social media channels.  Information will be readily available within the existing Allander Leisure Centre advising users of the closure date.
