    Section

    1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Members with an update in relation to the replacement of the former electronic learning hub Brightwaves, previously provided by Clyde Valley Learning Development Group.
    2. The Council’s replacement EDC Learning Hub – Moodle Workplace provides functionality to support a broad range of e-learning resources. Corporate users will be able to work through their allocated e-learning courses online and, on completion, will be awarded a course badge as part of their training record. Managers will be able to gauge and report on employee e-learning course work progress individually and as a department.
    3. The introduction of the new learning facility provides the user with the flexibility to achieve their mandatory and development training goals, providing them with their own training record.
