Section

  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise of the commencement of a period of consultation in support of the preparation of the new Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Strategic Plan 2025-30 and invite input.

  2. The East Dunbartonshire HSCP is currently preparing a new Strategic Plan for 2025-30 that sets out how the Partnership will plan and deliver services.  When preparing its new Strategic Plan, an HSCP Board must ensure that partners, stakeholders and members of the public are engaged in the process.  With the Council and Health Board being the main constituent bodies, the involvement of officers and Elected Members is of particular importance.

  3. At its meeting of 27th June, the HSCP Board agreed that the HSCP may now begin the first period of consultation which will run until 23rd August 2024.

  4. Recipients of this Technical Note are invited to consider the consultation report. The HSCP Board would welcome any comments on the developing themes and enablers that are set out in the document, which are proposed as a framework for the new Strategic Plan. The purpose of the consultation process is to ensure that these developing priorities have common consensus amongst partners and stakeholders.  Thereafter, if approved by the HSCP Board, the Strategic plan will be built around a final set of themes and enablers taking account of all views received. There will be a second stage of consultation at this point. The draft plan will also be an agenda item in due course at the Housing Health and Care Forum.

  5. The consultation report can be accessed on this link and contains a survey link to help to coordinate feedback.
