  1. Further to Technical Note 126, Tuesday 23 July 2024, the purpose of this technical note is to update Elected Members on notification of Industrial Action by GMB

  2. The Council has now received formal notification that commencing from 5am on 14 August 2024 and continuing each day until 22 August at 4.59am, the GMB will call members within Waste, Recycling and Fleet (Workshop) based at Hilton Depot and Mavis Valley Recycling Centre to take strike action in relation to the 2024 Pay Offer

  3. Officers from all appropriate services are meeting to consider this notification and will provide a further update to Members in due course.
