  1. Following a robust recruitment and selection process, conducted jointly between the Council and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, I am delighted to confirm that Derrick Pearce has been appointed as the Council’s next Chief Officer of our East Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership
  2. As you will be aware, Derrick was appointed to the Interim Chief Officer role in the summer whilst recruitment to the permanent post was progressed, and he therefore takes up the permanent role with immediate effect
  3. I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Derrick on his appointment and wish him well as he steers the HSCP going forward.
