The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Members of the resignation of Councillor Susan Murray with effect from 30th November 2024
Councillor Murray has today intimated her resignation as a Councillor for Ward 7, Kirkintilloch East & North and Twechar. Her last day will be tomorrow, 30 November 2024
The Chief Executive, as Returning Officer, will commence planning for the necessary by-election next week, which will include setting a suitable date for the poll. Further information will be issued as arrangements are progressed.
