  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Members of the resignation of Councillor Susan Murray with effect from 30th November 2024
  • Councillor Murray has today intimated her resignation as a Councillor for Ward 7, Kirkintilloch East & North and Twechar. Her last day will be tomorrow, 30 November 2024
  • The Chief Executive, as Returning Officer, will commence planning for the necessary by-election next week, which will include setting a suitable date for the poll. Further information will be issued as arrangements are progressed.
