    As you may be aware, Mark Grant, General Manager, EDLCT, is due to retire in June after 37 years with Strathkelvin District Council and EDC/EDLCT. His last working day will be 22 May 2024.

    Please be advised, after a robust recruitment and selection process by the EDLCT Recruitment Panel and myself, that Karin Jackson has been appointed as General Manager of EDLCT. Many of you will know Karin from her current role as Operations Leader – Sports Development. 

    To support transition arrangements Karin’s appointment will be effective from Monday 13 May and she will work closely with Mark over the following 2 weeks.

    I hope you will join me in extending best wishes to Mark in his retirement and to Karin as she assumes her new role
