    1. This is the latest in a series of Technical Notes to update Members in relation to the ongoing planning and arrangements for the upcoming UK Parliamentary election.
       
    2.  Members will be aware from previous Technical Notes that the nomination period closed earlier today at 4pm.  Upon closure of this period, the Returning Officer is required to publish a Notice of Poll which lists the candidates for the Mid Dunbartonshire County Constituency.  
       
    3. As at 4pm today, 7 candidates submitted nomination packs to stand for election to the office of MP for the Mid Dunbartonshire County Constituency.  The candidates are listed at Appendix 1 to this Technical Note.-
