    Section

    1. This technical note is to inform Elected Members of a change of date to the statutory consultation process for Lenzie Academy new school, which commenced on Tuesday 6 May 2024, and was scheduled to complete on Wednesday 19 June 2024.
       
    2. As part of the consultation process, a public consultation event must be held.  This was scheduled for Tuesday 11 June 2024, to take place in Lenzie Academy between 15:30 and 19:00. Notice of cancellation has been issued. 
       
    3. The public consultation event has been postponed due to the forthcoming General Election.  A new date will be confirmed and sent to all stakeholders soon.  
       
    4. The online consultation will remain open and will be available for the Education Stakeholders to respond to, until Friday 23 August 2024.
       
    5. The public consultation event will be rescheduled to a date in August (to be confirmed) after the school session has commenced. We will inform you of the new date next week after agreement with Education Scotland has been reached.
