    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Elected Members of the imminent demolition of the former Campsie View School buildings at Boghead Road, Lenzie.
  • Following their damage by fire on 22/23 August, a notice was issued by the Council’s Building Standards service requiring the demolition of the remainder of the buildings in order to make the site safe.
  • Demolition works will commence on Monday 8th September and last for a period of approximately 8 weeks. Works will be undertaken with a demolition excavator and with dust suppression measures used where required.
  • Local residents will be notified of these works by the Council’s appointed demolition contractor, Dem-Master, via a newsletter issued by mail drop on Friday 5 September.
