    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Members with further details of the next round of pre-planning consultation events regarding the Lenzie Academy project at Whitegates Park
  • Technical Note ref: 094-25 confirmed arrangements for the first round of consultation sessions, which took place in June 2025.  Further design work has progressed since the initial sessions, and it had been expected to hold the second set of consultation events at the end of September/start of October
  • Work remains ongoing to confirm the design solution for the substructure and access road for the new school, in addition to establishing the exact location of Scottish Water apparatus at Initiative Road. As this work has yet to complete, this will result in a delay to the anticipated date for the second set of consultation events. These will now be held before the end of November.  Members, stakeholders and the general public will be advised of the exact dates for the next consultation sessions in due course.
