This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide a response to a question raised at Council on 6 March when Council considered Report No. CFO/006/25/JR - HOUSING BUSINESS PLAN, HOUSING REVENUE AND CAPITAL BUDGET 2025/26 AND STRATEGIC HOUSING INVESTMENT PLAN
  • The question was whether the Council is considering introducing water harvesting as part of the specification for the new build housing programme. Officers can confirm that water harvesting does not form part of the specification for the new build houses.  This was briefly considered early in the design stage but is not being considered for inclusion in the specification for new build houses
  • On-going updates regarding the housing investment plan, specifically the delivery of AHIP will continue to be provided via regular updates to the Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee.
