    •  At the Policy and Resources Committee on 22 May 2025, a question was raised regarding Criminal Justice Social Work and the completion of background reports for those placed on remand at HMP Low Moss who live out with Scotland, with specific reference to the funding arrangements for the completion of Enquiry Reports for these prisoners
    • The HSCP Prison Based Social Work Team and HSCP Criminal Justice Service is funded by the Scottish Prison Service as agreed in the Memorandum of Understanding.  This is the case for all Prisons in Scotland
    • There are no cross-border arrangements in place for other countries or Local Authorities
    •  East Dunbartonshire is not charged in a reciprocal fashion for work relating to East Dunbartonshire residents currently is custody in any other Prison.
