    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Elected Members on re-opening arrangements for Bearsden Community Hub
  • The project to replace the RAAC roof at Bearsden Hub has now reached its completion. Final snagging works will remain on-going during w/c Monday 2 February, the heras fencing surrounding the site will be removed in full by Friday 6th February and this will be followed by some landscaping maintenance around the building
  • In the intervening period, building safety/compliance checks, the re-stocking and preparation of the library space and staff inductions will be undertaken for all teams working in the building
  • The building will re-open to the public on Monday 16 March 2026. Detailed arrangements for the re-opening alongside general publicity will be communicated via the Council’s social media channels and through information notices erected at the Hub.
