Overview of Service Delivery 2025/26

The important role our Libraries play in local communities is being realised as usage continues to grow both in terms of physical and digital visits with overall usage up by 4.2% despite the ongoing closure of Bearsden Library until March 2026.

Heritage & Arts has also grown significantly with an overall increase of 13% on last year – well done all round to Cultural Services.

The Direct Debit memberships for Leisure Centres and Community Sports have also continued to grow, with Centres memberships up by 4.3% and Community Sports up by 7.8% on the previous year.

On a different note, the Trust lost around 275 years of experience this year through the retirement of ten members of staff across our services. June 2025 started what turned put to be a steady stream of valued and experienced employees leaving to enjoy their well earned retirement.
