ICT Purchasing
For new employees, all SMART working hardware should be requested on the Online Change Request form for setting up a network account for a new user.
All other ICT hardware should be purchased using the Hardware and Software order form
The form should be completed with full specification and costs and who the equipment is for. The form should be authorised by someone who can sign on the costcode provided, please note that a full Costcode must be provided before the order will be process by ICT. The Hardware and Software Order Form can be used for items to the value of £1000, greater than this value Procurement must be contacted procurement@eastdunbarton.gov.uk
What can I purchase from ICT?
Standard ICT equipment such as hardware and single use software can be purchased via ICT using the Hardware and Software Order form. This form can, for example, be used to order items such as Standard SMART working equipment, standard school equipment, tablets, PDAs, camera, headsets, usb sticks, cables, standard software application licences and non-standard software application licences.
The form should be completed giving full specification and price if known for the items as well as the full cost code and authorisation signature. The form should then be scanned and emailed to it.serviceline@eastdunbarton.gov.uk or sent by internal mail to the ICT Service desk at Broomhill.
Please note: Purchases greater than £1000 must be discussed with the ICT Service Desk prior to submssion of the Hardware and Software Order form.

There is a specification for all devices available for purchase from ICT.
Please note: stock from suppliers can change with very short notice so the specification and price of these devices could change. ICT will inform users of any changes prior to going ahead with the purchase.
