Last year, 4,965 Scotwest Members saved a record breaking £4.3m in Christmas savings!

By planning ahead, you could avoid facing hefty credit card bills in the New Year. If you’re interested, all you need to do is open an account and start saving. Your money will soon add up and each November we’ll automatically pay your savings into your chosen bank or building society account.

Unlike hamper schemes, your money is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and what’s more you may receive a dividend prior to pay-out each year.

The Glasgow Times Bank On Us campaign, bringing together hundreds of generous people to support food banks, was a huge success.
The initiative was organised for the seventh year in a row, highlighting the great work charities do in the city to support vulnerable residents who may not otherwise have had anything on the table during the holidays.

We also encouraged anyone who had the means to donate essential items.
