We’re supporting Talk Money Week, which aims to break down barriers and make it easier for people to share their thoughts and feelings about money.

It can be difficult to start the conversation about money. That’s why Talk Money Week is a great opportunity to kickstart a conversation with friends, family or colleagues. In fact, building money conversations into our everyday lives can help us build the financial confidence and resilience needed to face whatever the future has in store for us.

Scotwest is free to join and if you are joining Scotwest to borrow from us for the festive period, the quickest and easiest way to apply is online – simply fill in our Online Membership Form, letting us know how much you would like to borrow and we’ll do the rest.

If you are already a Scotwest Member you can apply for a loan any time using online banking. If you are not registered for online banking you can give us a call on 0141 227 2390 between 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 3.45pm on Fridays.

Scotwest Supports Hamilton-Lanark Girls Brigade.

We are pleased to announce that the latest organisation to receive a Scotwest Community Award is Hamilton/Lanark Girl’s Brigade. The award will fund outdoor first aid training for leaders.

Jill Miller, the Scotwest Member who nominated the group said “The group provides and fun and safe environment for girls to learn good values, play games, craft work and participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.”

Kirsty Laird of the Girls’ Brigade said “Thank you so much to the Members of Scotwest for this award. It will allow us to undergo the training needed for our leaders to provide first aid cover in Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions. As a voluntary organisation this will make such a difference to the costs of taking part in these events.”
