Scotwest works with organisations and businesses around Scotland to offer our services through Payroll Deduction for their staff.

This means, if you are employed by one of these Employer Partners you can become a member of Scotwest and make payments directly from your wages each payday for savings and loans. If you decide to become a member, your Scotwest deductions will show on your wage slip next to any pension or other employee contributions.

Scotwest Saver Account Every Member of Scotwest opens this savings account automatically upon joining.

Unsecured Loans A loan from Scotwest could help with your borrowing needs for unsecured loans available from 6.5% representative APR. Whether you’re planning the trip of a lifetime, doing a little DIY or celebrating a special occasion, Scotwest is here to support you. There are no fees and the interest rates that we advertise are the rates that you will be charged.

Fast £1000 Express Loan offers a guaranteed same day decision for up to £1000 to help with any unforeseen emergencies.

Car Loans Our standard Car Loan is available at 7.5% rep APR. Our Green Car Loan for electric and hybrid vehicles is available at 6.5% rep APR.

Joining Scotwest is free but you must keep a £1 minimum balance in your Scotwest Saver Account at all times to remain a member.

Scotwest Credit Union will be closed on the following days over Easter:

Scotwest will close at 5pm on Thursday 2 April for the Easter Weekend and reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday 6 April.

Any Members looking to apply for a loan or make savings withdrawals around these dates should do so in plenty of time.
