We're delighted to be hosting this fantastic exhibition celebrating 100 years of the wonderful Kirkintilloch Players – one of the oldest, if not the oldest, drama clubs in Scotland. It's a chance to relive some of the highlights from the club's rich history and the theatrical magic staged by its performers and creative talents over the years.

The Kirkintilloch Players usually perform at The Turret Theatre, housed on the ground floor of an Edwardian tenement at Eastside, Kirkintilloch. The venue is sometimes referred to as the 'TARDIS' as – when people first step through its door – it looks much bigger inside than it appears outside!

The club was officially founded in 1923, although it had been active in a small way for a few years prior.
