It's Results Day (Tuesday 8 August) and across East Dunbartonshire, pupils have been finding out how they have fared in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exams.
Early analysis indicates that overall, results in East Dunbartonshire remain strong as pupils from our eight secondary schools1 returned to formal exams for the second consecutive year since the disruption of the pandemic.
A significant number have passed with flying colours, achieving A, B and C grades. For National 5s it was 84%, for Highers it was 83.1% and for Advanced Higher the figure was 79.2%.
