East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking your feedback to help shape the final draft of our equalities policies.
Our Equalities Mainstream Report (2023-27) shines a spotlight on the wide range of work currently underway across East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership and sets out how we plan to continue to embed equalities into practice.
It also highlight the progress made against our previous Equalities Outcomes (2017-2021) and affirms our commitment to provide health and social care services that are fair and equitable for all our communities, particularly to those covered by the Equality Act 2010 which you can view by visiting Equality and Human Rights Commission website.
The priorities for the Report have been identified by listening carefully to our community - including staff, service users, carers and their families, third sector organisations and stakeholders – and hearing what is important to them. But we want your feedback to make sure we have got it right.
Caroline Sinclair, HSCP Chief Officer, said, “Getting involved in the Equalities Mainstream Report (2023-27) and Equality Outcomes is a great opportunity for our communities to help shape services.
“It is really important that the people who access these services help us to get it right – they can suggest changes or improvements that we may not have thought about. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to get involved and air their views.”
This final stage of the consultation will run until the 28 February 2023 and we are again asking all of the people of East Dunbartonshire, our staff, carers and their families and all of our stakeholders, to offer their views on the final draft of the Equalities Mainstreaming Report and Equalities Outcomes that were identified in the earlier consultation.
You can read more on our dedicated consultation page (NEEDS LINK).
The survey can be found on our Equalities Mainstreaming Report (2023-2027) Draft Outcomes Survey.
