Mary Shelley’s famous horror story will be brought to life, for one night only, at Kilmardinny House this October and tickets go on sale on Friday 16 August at 5pm.
Following a successful production of A Christmas Carol last December, No Nonsense Productions theatre company returns to the Bearsden venue with Frankenstein: The Radio Play.
Presented as a 1950s radio play on stage, this adaptation features live sound effects and period music. Onstage three plucky 1950s radio actors play dozens of characters and re-tell Shelley’s classic story.
“This performance is the second theatre production programmed by EDLC cultural services at this venue and follows A Christmas Carol; A Radio Play which was very well-received by those who attended in December 2023.
“I would encourage everyone who can, to take this opportunity to enjoy some top-notch theatre right on our doorstep."
The tale of Dr Frankenstein and his dark creation comes to Kilmardinny House in Bearsden on the spookiest date of the year, October 31.
