In addition to the festive films, we also had a snow machine and the wonderful Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass band played seasonal tunes for our customers.
"Thanks to all who supported us in 2023, not least our fantastic volunteers who make the Picture Palace possible. Tickets are selling well for our Scottish Film Festival – don't miss out."
Volunteer Elspeth Milne said, "I wished and hoped for a cinema in Kirkintilloch for many years. It's great to be part of the team that brings films to our town."
In addition to the festival, there will be a dementia-friendly screening of I Know Where I’m Going! (PG) on Friday 19 January at 2pm. Tickets cost £5 (carers free).
