East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership has appointed Derrick Pearce as its new Chief Officer.
Derrick took up the role of Interim Chief Officer in July 2024, and now, following a robust recruitment and selection process conducted jointly between the Council and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, has secured the role on a permanent basis.
Derrick was previously Head of Community Health and Care Services at East Dunbartonshire HSCP for over six years and before that spent a decade in Health and Social Care roles in Inverclyde.
I am pleased to announce that Derrick Pearce has been appointed the new Chief Officer of East Dunbartonshire HSCP.
“Derrick’s knowledge and experience in delivering high quality services will be vital in the coming years and I look forward to continuing to work with him to achieve the HSCP’s strategic mission and ensure positive outcomes for our residents.”

Derrick will take up the post with immediate effect.
