From sports camps to crafts, children and young people are being offered the chance to enjoy an array of activities during the summer holidays.
East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust (EDLCT) has organised a packed programme. Visit www.edlc.co.uk/whats-on/summer-activities-kids-2025 – where you can see what's on each week at venues throughout the area.
'School’s out for summer' includes:
- Football, gymnastics and netball camps
- Swimming – including junior lifesaving courses, Aqua Active events and sessions for children with additional support needs
- Tennis (25% off court bookings)
- Free summer craft and Bookbug sessions at local libraries
- Arts activities
- Exhibitions.
Free and paid-for activities and events are taking place at various times between 30 June and 10 August 2025. Where appropriate, please book and pay in advance.
Venues include Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre, the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs, the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden, Huntershill Sports Hub in Bishopbriggs, the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie, Lennoxtown High Park, the Auld Kirk Museum in Kirkintilloch and local libraries.
