Constituency Returning Officer Ann Davie - Chief Executive of East Dunbartonshire Council - said, "Everyone working at the count did an excellent job and I would like to thank them for their hard work in counting the votes so efficiently.
“It takes a huge amount of hard work to organise and co-ordinate the process and I would also like to thank all the polling station officers, the candidates, my election team and all who have helped in any way to make this election process a success.”
