Mugdock Country Park combines natural beauty, history and adventure.

Our 500-acre park offers a magical mix of breathtaking landscapes, scenic walking trails, and rich history with the 14th-century Mugdock Castle and the grand ruins of Craigend Castle, designed by renowned architects in striking Gothic style. One of Mugdock’s hidden gems is Mugdock Wood, an ancient oak forest located just south of the main courtyard. This protected area is a sanctuary for rare species of fauna and a thriving habitat for local wildlife.

Our stunning park makes the perfect location for film and tv productions and over the years we’ve welcomed Hollywood blockbusters and independent cinema.
