Kirkintilloch Business Gateway Masterplan

The Kirkintilloch Business Gateway area between the A806 Initiative Road and Woodilee Road is identified in Local Development Plan 2 as key regeneration site.

It currently contains a mixture of existing businesses and vacant/derelict sites. A masterplan has been prepared to support existing businesses and encourage the development of vacant and derelict land. The masterplan includes information on:

• The aims of the masterplan and how it was prepared
• Plans showing how the Business Gateway area should be developed in the future, including land uses, potential building layouts, landscaping and open space, and vehicular, pedestrian and cycling access routes
• An explanation of how the masterplan is expected to be delivered, including specific requirements for different parts of the site
• A summary of technical and engineering issues.
