Important announcement

Due to operational issues, regrettably, some of our food waste collections have been suspended. If your food caddy is not collected on its scheduled day, please take your bin in and present it on your next collection day. We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause and we’re working hard to remedy the situation.

Access Protection Markings, also known as Driveway Protection Markings, are white lines painted across driveways to discourage parking.

They are a form of “Keep Clear” marking. Whilst not legally enforceable, residents who are regularly experiencing issues with parked vehicles encroaching on their access can make a request for these markings.

Please note there is now a charge of £179 for a new access protection marking or to refresh an existing marking. As there may be a delay between the request being made and the work being carried out, the charge will be invoiced after the line has been painted. The charge for an access protection marking is in addition to the cost of dropping the kerb. Visit the Dropped Kerb page.

To request an Access Protection Marking, please contact Customer Services by emailing  customerservices@eastdunbarton.gov.uk or by calling 0300 123 4510.
