Concessionary Travel

The National Entitlement Card is your pass to free bus travel in Scotland. If you are aged 5-11, over 60 or have a disability, you are eligible for free bus travel to get around Scotland and your local area. Bus Stops and Shelters within East Dunbartonshire are maintained by SPT. You can report any hazardous defects to shelters via the 24 hour Shelter Defects Hotline on 0800 37 36 35. Non-hazardous damage or report missing/incorrect timetable information.

East Dunbartonshire Council are working with SPT to upgrade bus shelters across the authority, including the installation of Real Time Passenger Information. RTPI provides live information about the arrival of services which reduces uncertainty and makes bus travel more attractive.
