East Dunbartonshire’s City Deal Place and Growth Programme
City Deal Investment
East Dunbartonshire is set to benefit from a £34.88 million City Deal investment in East Dunbartonshire Council’s City Deal Place and Growth Programme. The programme, which aims to boost the East Dunbartonshire economy, is intended to support the local economy and links to the wider city region across three project elements:
- Delivery of Westerhill Development Road & Westerhilll Masterplan Delivery of the BRR5 and Westerhill Masterplan page
- A803 Corridor Improvements
- Bishopbriggs Town Centre Regeneration.
The A803 Corridor Improvements project element - in partnership with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and Glasgow City Council - involves an integrated approach to improving transport infrastructure within Bishopbriggs and connections to the north of Glasgow.
