The new-look Campsie Memorial Hall in Lennoxtown was officially re-opened by Provost Renwick today following a £2.279m revitalisation project. The hall has been handed over to the Campsie Memorial Hall Trust who will manage the building.
The Council worked with development partner Hub West Scotland and main contractor Linear Design and Construct to revamp of the much-loved venue in the town’s Main Street.
The Provost said, “This fantastic venue will benefit people in the village and beyond who now have a modern and accessible building which can support a wide range of clubs and activities. Many thanks to everyone involved – including the community, our teams, funders and partners. It was an honour to carry out the official opening today.
